Media: Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Time: I really have no idea... Date of Completion: June 22, 2004
Again it's a Photoshop work. I might switch to being a primarily Photoshop person, because Painter 6.1 isn't such a gentleman on OSX Classic with huge pictures. I'd still draw in Painter, but color in Photoshop... maybe... anyway.
Once I had the idea for this pic (which I won't go over here, because I want this picture to speak on its own), my goal was to paint it in a way that it looks good from far away. Most of the times, I've been painting pictures that look alright close up, and really uninteresting far away. That's a sign of bad composition, among other artistic woes.
Now, the pic looks alright when you look at it this small, aka microscopic. But any bigger, and it's... eek ^^; Oh well. I kept hacking at it, then it got to the point where... where... I don't know anymore. So I left it like that, unfinished. I might come back to it some day, but for now it's "done."
Well, at least I'm very fond of the idea here! Plus I feel that I learned a lot from working on this one, which is always good :D
