A milestone piece! :D I've improved between now and the time I finished this picture, but back then, this was representative of my very best in pretty much every aspect.
This is the first picture I consciously avoided using pure white and pure black -- those colors can make the colors appear gaudy. So, to prevent that, I chose substitute colors such as ivory and dark brown. A nifty tip I picked up from Tatoomcity tutorial! (site in Korean)
